Pandemic ne telemedicine ko mainstream bana diya – chat, video call, app-based consultation. Doctor patient ko physically examine nahi kar raha, lekin legal duty phir bhi strong hai.
Doctors ko ensure karna hota hai:
- Clear identity and history lena,
- Jahan zaroori ho, patient ko in-person consult ke liye refer karna,
- Prescriptions responsibly dena (specially controlled drugs),
- Data privacy aur record-keeping maintain karna.
Platforms ko bhi advertising, doctor verification, and grievance handling me care leni chahiye. “Medical advice nahi sirf information” type disclaimers helpful hain, par sab kuch shield nahi karte.
Patients ko apne symptoms honestly describe karne chahiye, reports clear share karni chahiye, aur emergency signs pe app chat pe depend nahi rehna chahiye. Telemedicine convenience hai, complete replacement nahi.
