Misconduct ke serious allegations pe employers employee ko suspend kar sakte hain – matlab duty se hata diya, but job technically khatam nahi. Usually subsistence allowance diya jata hai.
Suspension punishment nahi, preventive step maana jata hai – taaki enquiry fair ho, records tamper na hon, witness influence na ho. Lekin indefinite suspension without progress courts ko pasand nahi.
Employees challenge kar sakte hain agar:
- Suspension mala fide lagta ho,
- Bahut lambe time tak enquiry start hi na ho,
- Subsistence allowance itna low ho ki basic survival muskil ho.
Balance yeh hai: institution ki image aur fairness protect karna, aur employee ki dignity aur livelihood ka respect rakhna. Time-bound enquiries sabke interest me hain.
